Dr. Tina Hansen
Tina is an integrative veterinarian, mixed animal acupuncturist, canine nutritionist, speaker and lecturer from Norway. She graduated from the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in 2023, While simultaneously working on her certification in mixed animal acupuncture with Chi University with practical parts in Belgium. She completed an equine externship in Dubai following graduation, and worked one year in the UK with small animals, exotics and local wildlife.
Tina spent most of her free time during University traveling and volunteering abroad, and has continued to do so past graduation. She has volunteered with wildlife, horses and small animals around Africa, but also in Thailand, Ecuador and the Caribbean. Tina has also spent some time teaching undergraduate students wildlife medicine in South Africa.
Since then she has worked with small animals back in Norway, while completing her nutrition certificate with FeedReal. She came together with some colleagues in 2024 creating the “Holistic Vet Sisters” to provide free holistic advice to pet parents online, along the same time she opened up Purple Vet Services with an aim of making integrative veterinary care more accessible for pet owners worldwide. She is currently studying Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis as an additional tool to assess animals nutrition and health status. On top of her clinical work she is now offering nutrition and lifestyle consults online, while creating health related digital courses and resources for holistic pet health enthusiasts.
